Journalism is one of my favorite things to do when it comes to producing content and working on a large-scale project. I have always enjoyed writing and I have found that during my time at Piedmont University that journalism and writing of all kinds is one of the topics that I truly enjoy the most. Where is all the Coverage?
For my final paper in my sports media writing class, I wrote about coverage involving sports and other events revolving around Piedmont during the flurry of COVID when everyone was left scurrying to continue to do their jobs effectively while going through such a tough time.

As Lions, We Stand as One
I wrote this piece covering the heavy topic of racism during the period of the Black Lives Matter protests and the recent horrific murder of George Floyd. I interviewed a few of my teammates and tried to help shed some light on the issues we face in our country today and how important is to join together as one to improve for each other.

Luck (or is it?) of the Irish
I wrote an article discussing the legacy of my favorite NBA basketball team, the Boston Celtics. I talked about the past and the hopeful future, and I enjoyed being able to write about something that really interests me and that I enjoy very much.

NBA Finals Game Coverage
During the 2020 NBA Finals, I wrote a mock article that was based on post-game interviews and points of views from important members of each organization. It captures what has already happened in the series and what is soon to come.

Women's Cross Country Feature Story
During my time doing an internship class with Piedmont University's Sports Information Department, I wrote a feature story about the women's cross country team's top runner and her experience throughout her time here.

During my time doing an internship class with Piedmont University's Sports Information Department, I wrote a feature story about the men's cross country team's 5th year runner and his experience throughout his time here.

This is an infographic that I created covering the Boston Celtics in 2008 that covered details of who was on the team and the various stats that they put up when they won the NBA Championship.
